Free and Online – ” Who Would You Be Without Your Story “
We all have a story to tell about who we are, what we’ve been doing, what we like and dislike, but have you ever stopped and asked the question is that really who i am ?
We’ve been living in our stories for so long that we don’t ever think to question them. Why would we ?
We’ve believed these stories for so long that they have come to define who we think we are. Not only that, we defend and protect the story of who we believe ourselves to be. We cling to our stories for our identity.
Our stories are about the thoughts and beliefs we have about our experiences.
Spiritual teacher Byron Katie says “ When i believe my thoughts i suffer, when i don’t believe my thoughts i don’t suffer.”
Join us on July 16th when we will explore, with the aid of teachings from Eckhart Tolle and Byron Katie, how our stories shape who we think we are and how by self-inquiry we can end limiting and stressful thoughts.
What’s your story and who would you be without it ?

There are two groups running fortnightly, one for people who are new to Eckhart’s teachings and another for those with more experience.
A group of people coming together in a state of presence generates a collective energy field of great intensity. It not only raises the degree of presence of each member of the group but also helps to free the collective human consciousness from its current state of mind dominance.”
START YOUR OWN GROUP
If you cannot find a group nearby then perhaps you might like to consider starting one yourself. If you would like to start your own local group then please contact me for further information and guidelines. There may well be other people in your area who are keen to meet and explore Eckhart’s teachings.
" Freedom From Fear and Anxiety " - Workshop - June 25th 1.00 pm
Over the past two years there has been a significant increase in the number of people reporting to feel anxious and afraid. Fear and anxiety are natural human emotions however for many people they can come to dominate their lives.
In order to find freedom from these emotions we need to understand their origin or root cause.
Fear and anxiety are normal protective mechanisms that are learnt in order to keep us safe. Sometimes, however, these reactions become overstimulated leading to dysregulation of the nervous system and the formation of negative limiting beliefs.
Usually when confronted with difficult thoughts, emotions and bodily sensations we do whatever it takes to feel better. With traditional Western psychological approaches, such as cognitive behaviour therapy, the aim is to try and make them go away or change them into something more pleasant. Eastern contemplative traditions however take a more radical approach in dealing with painful experiences such as anxiety.
Join us on June 25th when we will explore, with the aid of teachings from Eckhart Tolle and others, what fear and anxiety really are and how to find freedom from these debilitating conditions.
This will be an experiential afternoon with exercises, tools, techniques, meditations and video teachings. I do hope you can join us.
These are an opportunity for you to retreat from the busyness of day to day life and immerse yourself in the peace and tranquility of the Cornish countryside.
I offer one day, weekend and week long retreats tailored to you individual needs and requirements.
These include :
- One to one time with myself to explore what you bring to retreat and what you discover during your stay.
- Meditation practice. Stillness and silence are an important part of any retreat. It is only by spending time in stillness that we can really begin to find our true self. I recommend reading Eckhart’s book “ Stillness Speaks “ before attending a retreat.
- Time in nature. We are surrounded by the wonder of nature but so very rarely see it. Spending time in nature is one of our greatest teachers.
The beautiful countryside of Cornwall offers a unique learning ground in the practice of presence.
It’s time to pause and slow down. Listen to the voice of your heart, it’s calling you home. If you are tired of life, feeling stressed, unhappy or dissatisfied with any aspect of your life, and ready for change, then a retreat may be for you. There is a different way to live. It’s time to rest, reflect and discover who you really are.
