“The Secret to a Happy and Content Life”

The spiritual teacher J Krishnamurti once announced to his followers that he was going to tell them his secret. Everyone became very alert. Many people had been coming to listen to him for years and failed to understand his teachings. ” Finally the master will give us the the key to understanding.”

“This is my secret,” he said. “I don’t mind what happens.”

The implications of this simple statement are profound.

When i don’t mind what happens it implies that i am in alignment with what happens. Anything else is arguing with reality. To be in alignment with the isness of life means to be in nonresistance with what happens. The mind labels experiences as good or bad, right or wrong but when i don’t mind what happens these labels fall away.

Join us on February 3rd when we will explore, with the aid of teachings from Eckhart Tolle and others, how practicing nonresistance can bring peace and freedom.

A group of people coming together in a state of presence generates a collective energy field of great intensity. It not only raises the degree of presence of each member of the group but also helps to free the collective human consciousness from its current state of mind dominance.”

The Power of Conscious Relationships - Finding True Love - London Retreat - March 16th

How is your relationship ? Are you happy and content or do you feel frustrated, lonely and confused ? It’s now estimated that 50% of first marriages end in divorce. If that number surprises you then this rises to 67% of second marriages and 73% of third marriages that end in divorce.

So why are so many people unhappy and dissatisfied with their relationship ? To answer that question we have to go back to childhood. One of the reasons why relationships are so challenging is because we unconsciously recreate the relationship dynamics from our childhood. Unresolved trauma and childhood wounds can trigger conflict in adult relationships.

“Until we bring the unconscious into consciousness there will always be dysfunction in relationships.”

Join us on March 16th when we will explore, with the aid of teachings from Eckhart Tolle and others, how by entering into a conscious relationship, we can find a deeper level of connection, heal emotional wounds and experience freedom to be our authentic self.

We will also explore the difference between ” Romantic Love ” and True Love where peace and happiness are found.

This retreat is for everyone, whether you are currently in a relationship or not.

Residential Retreats

Living a Life of Presence – Weekend Retreats

These are an opportunity for you to retreat from the busyness of day to day life and immerse yourself in the peace and tranquility of the Cornish countryside.

* More details to follow soon *

These include :

  • One to one time with myself to explore what you bring to retreat and what you discover during your stay.
  • Meditation practice. Stillness and silence are an important part of any retreat. It is only by spending time in stillness that we can really begin to find our true self. I recommend reading Eckhart’s book “ Stillness Speaks “ before attending a retreat.
  • Time in nature. We are surrounded by the wonder of nature but so very rarely see it. Spending time in nature is one of our greatest teachers.

The beautiful countryside of Cornwall offers a unique learning ground in the practice of presence.

It’s time to pause and slow down. Listen to the voice of your heart, it’s calling you home. If you are tired of life, feeling stressed, unhappy or dissatisfied with any aspect of your life, and ready for change, then a retreat may be for you. There is a different way to live. It’s time to rest, reflect and discover who you really are.
